The German city Neckarsteinach or also called the Four-Castle-City lies at the river Neckar in the South of Hessen, 15 km East of Heidelberg.
The history of this beautiful city can be traced back to the the 7th century when it belonged to the “Lobdengau” which was ruled by the diocese Worms. Seigneur Bligger and his sons and grandchildren built the four castles and they are tightly connected with the history of Neckarsteinach itself. It is a little city like you would find in a picture book.
