Castle Schwalbennest

The castle Schwalbennest is not an intact castle and its official name is infact castle Schadeck; it is the rest of the Middle Age castle  that was on a mountain near the German city Neckarsteinach in the year 1230. Supposedly the castle was built by the son of Ulrich I. His name was Ulrich II.
Schwalbennest castle is the youngest castle of 4 castles that are very close by: Vorderburg, Mittelburg and Hinterburg. See other photos of these castle in the next posts – stay tuned!
